Register here: Join us for a moderated panel and subsequent small group discussions on the topic of autonomy and artificial intelligence in warfare. The panel will feature Ian Abraham (Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering & Materials Science at Yale and leader of the Intelligent Autonomy Lab) and Michael Butera (Policy Advisor in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs at the U.S. Department of State). The event will cover key scientific concepts behind the design, development, and deployment of autonomous weapon systems, as well as the ethical, diplomatic, and regulatory dimensions of autonomy and artificial intelligence in warfare. Yale community members of all disciplines and levels of expertise are encouraged to attend.
